Job Description:

  • Perform site planning, coordination & inspection relating to the construction project so as to ensure that project completion timeline, requirements and budget are met;
  • Assist in the implementation of project operations to comply with ISO 9001; 14001; 45001 standard requirements, documented procedures as well as client, companies, authorities’ requirements;
  • Update the progress of structural works in the Progress Reports;
  • Assist in commissioning including coordination structural engineering;
  • Maintain the proper documentation of inspection forms and other follow-up inspections from RE;
  • Support Quantity Surveyors in conducting site measurement and inspections;
  • Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers and clients;
  • Work under the advice of the Safety Officer to adhere to compliance & safety requirements with regulatory and industry standards during the construction phase;
  • To ensure works are in compliance with quality procedures and within standard workmanship requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering (recognized by PE Board of Singapore);
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Construction industry;
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description:

 

  • Work closely with clients & consultants for BIM modelling and coordinate/collaborate using Revit.
  • Ensure construction documents, parameters and information accuracy for BIM modelling.
  • Adhere to BIM execution plan and BIM projects workflow criteria.
  • Prepare drawing and 3D model for construction, coordination and as built purposes.
  • Monitor and update model/cad drawing as per site condition changes.
  • Participate in planning and design support to civil & structural engineering projects.
  • Provide BIM Modelling / CAD drafting and design support.
  • Create Civil 3D customized subassemblies, Revit Families and CAD blocks.
  • Setting up project base files, ensures compliance with the approved BIM Execution, BIM Scope Plans and CAD standards.
  • Obtain work assignments of either BIM Modelling or CAD drafting from planners or designers.
  • Review all works for accuracy and completeness, submit work according to deadlines.
  • Demonstrate proactive approach to learning of new digital design tools.
  • Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Preferably ITE / Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry (AEC) / Specialist Diploma in BIM / VDC advantage
  • Min. two years of CAD + BIM experiences and preferred with 5 years of local working experience
  • Knowledge of, and proven practical background in, Autodesk Civil3D, Revit and related Building Information Modeling software.
  • Solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Design Visualization applications such as BIM Collaborate and Navisworks.
  • Demonstrate a reliable, responsive and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop learning material, deliver effective training and provide ongoing education.
  • Punctuality and Ability to adhere to deadlines.

Job Description: 

Tender Management

  • Review the tender specifications to ensure all measurements and quantities are accounted for to achieve realistic commercial value of each project;
  • Conduct call of quotations to invite approved / preferred / new subcontractors’ participation for competitive tenders;
  • Review CS, architectural and M&E drawings to ensure special requirements and annotations are taken into consideration and complete in the tenders;
  • Consult and align Construction team on the scope of tender submission; highlight and seek agreement on special requirements or unusual scope;
  • Communicate clearly on assumptions made during bill of quantities preparation.

Contract Management

  • Prepare contract documents for sign off by respective parties and ensure accuracy and completeness; follow through on project warranty approval;
  • Re-measure complete quantities (RC, architectural, civil and precinct) with full sets of drawings and specifications;
  • Prepare and evaluate actual project quotations from vendors, and submit for management’s approval;
  • Administer the issuance of LOI, LOA, letter of undertaking and work order to ensure formalization of engagement with receipt of respective architect’s instructions;
  • Administer project variation orders (VO) and submit the project final account for review.

Project Management

  • Manage project registration and ensure all parties duly sign off necessary documents;
  • Manage project insurance to ensure complete risk coverage;
  • Conduct and/or participate in all project meetings (i.e. handover, technical, client’s meets, etc.) to communicate, update and align to achieve smooth project execution;
  • Provide data to project personnel for wastage control.

Financial and Commercial Management

  • Manage the process of progressive subcontractors’ payment and finalization of subcontractors’ final account;
  • Monitor deduction for materials bought on behalf of subcontractors/suppliers;
  • Process all vendors’ payments and reconcile any discrepancies in due course;
  • Prepare for construction budget approval and review working budget twice a year.

Vendor Management

  • Update and maintain list of vendors;
  • Conduct pre-qualification for new vendors;
  • Negotiate with vendors on additional ad hoc site works;
  • Evaluate the performance of each vendor upon project completion.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering / Project & Facilities Management / Quantity Surveying or equivalent;
  • Preferably with experience in tender and project QS in building construction industry;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Good problem solving and decision-making skills
